PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Dr. Lacey took up her post at King George Hospital in May 1994. She is a single handed Microbiology consultant at the hospital.

She is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand, and following undergraduate training in South Africa was appointed as a registrar and later lecturer at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School at the Hammersmith Hospital in London.

She retained that post until her current appointment. At King George Hospital, she has played a major role in developing Microbiology and Infection Control Services for the Trust.
