PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Dr.Lau took up her post at Loxford Hall and King George Hospital in 1980. She trained in Medicine and Psychiatry in Canada and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. she is also Clinical Director of Child and Adolescent Mental Health.

Since the early eighties, Dr.Lau has been prominent in the development of transcultural family work in the U.K. contributing regularly to national and international conferences and to the professional literature. Loxford Hall is now a centre offering observation and teaching to local and overseas students in both medical and non- medical disciplines in the area of transcultural psychiatry
