PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Dr. Caviston's Undergraduate medical training took place in Dublin and this was followed by time as an SHO in Accident and Emergency and time doing general medicine. His general psychiatric training was with St. Bartholomew's Hospital and his specialist child and adolescent psychiatry training took place at UCH and Middlesex Hospitals, Marlborough Family Service, Simmons House Adolescent Unit and the Tavistock Clinic.

Prior to coming to Redbridge, Dr. Caviston was a Consultant in Newham for three years, providing a broad based District Child Psychiatry service.

He has training responsibility for Senior Registrars from the Royal London Hospital and Registrars from Bart's and Goodmayes.

He sits on the University of London MCQ and Psychiatry Sub-Panel, he is also an Examiner for Part 11 MRCPsych and is a member of the Ethics Committee for the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
